“Oh.. I see. Sorry I couldn’t be much help, buddy.” The boy sighed with a sad smile. “Raikou.. One of the legendary beasts, right?”
“Yup, that’s the one! I helped it out some time ago. Team Rocket were trying to capture it. Now, it visits me when I’m alone every once in a while.
“It’s no prob, by the way.”

Jimmy scuffed a foot. Well, there ya go.
“Sorry. I don’t get to talk much when it’s with Marina.”
He was about to elaborate, but the sudden feeling of self consciousness that came with Red’s comment made him shut up before he began.

Red listened quietly, rather confused. “………..I like the quiet………makes my head hurt less……..”
“Sometimes I dig quiet too, honestly. I just ditch all trainers and go try to find Raikou. Ever since I befriended it, it’s always shown up whenever I’m alone. It’s pretty cool, actually.
“Don’t tell Marina or Vincent if you see them; they might get jealous, haha.
“Anyway, people are cool too sometimes, though. There’s nothing wrong with being alone out of choice, but when you’re lonely, that’s not so fun.”
he blinked a little. Again? Why was everyone pointing that out recently. ”………….is that a problem………..?”
“Nah, not really.”
“It’s just that everyone I’ve met so far has been a chatterbox! It’s almost a relief to come across something different for once.
“Like my friend Marina. You don’t know the word ‘chatty’ until you’ve met her. She talks…and talks…and talks, and it’s usually about putting on a show or something like that. I think she’s not a very serious trainer. She’s so focused on being a star.
“With ‘Fabulance’. I swear…”
“…………….I think I’ll go with Kenta, if you don’t mind………”

Jimmy placed his hands on his hips. “You know, you’re kinda quiet.” It’s not critical, just an observation.
“Ummmm…Yes…I was on the ‘telly’ once…Why?” Red thought ‘telly’ was a weird word.
“Well, that means you’re a hotshot trainer, doesn’t it?”
“Just what are you, anyway? Gym Leader? Ace Trainer? Some other class I don’t know about?”

“Another Red, huh?” Jimmy was starting to get used to the idea of duplicates.
“Nice to meet you, dude. I’m Kenta, but you can call me Jimmy, if you’d like!”

“There’s something familiar about your name, but I can’t quite put my finger on it… It can’t be because Marina’s mentioned you, because you aren’t wearing a cape…”
